Item Details

Antique Venetian mirror, circa 1880, with re-entrant upper and lower corners and a gently curved top. The wide frame sections have scallop cut inner and outer edges and are superby etched with an intricate design of meadow flowers and leaves. Even the elongated bell flower pieces which overlay the frame sections have a leaf and flower decoration and are secured with little glass flower-topped screws. The central glass is bevelled, is in very good condition and gives an excellent reflection. This very pretty mirror would be a delightful feature in almost any setting.
