Item Details

Tall, narrow, gilt-framed, French mirror, circa 1950s, with double winged top and base. The narrow frame is decorated with raised curling leaves overlaid on a cross-hatched base and has a delicate, undulating border along the sight edge (edge closest to the glass). The original mirror glass is in very good condition, with just a hint of age, and gives and excellent reflection. This style of mirror was designed to hang between two tall windows or doors, hence the name "entre deux" (between two) but also works well as an elegant, full-length, mirror.
