Item Details

Pair of very handsome, large, antique, French oval mirrors, circa 1890, with wide, layered, frames decorated with a central, incurving, burnished gilt, banded section with a narrow beaded sight edge on the inside, a raised border of delicate overlapping leaves towards the outer edge, followed by a burnished gilt band on the outside of the frame and finished with a little ribbon-twist edge. The original mirror plates have just a hint of age but give a very good reflection.
