Item Details

Very large, late 19th century, gilt French mirror with undulating top and base and incurving sides decorated in the rococo style with curled acanthus leaves and floral sprays. The original, bevelled glass follows the shape of the mirror and is in excellent condition. The two pieces of wood visible above and below the mirror are only temporary supports to avoid damage to the mirror's decoration and will be removed before hanging.
