19th century French solid bronze dressing table mirror, circa 1880, with small, curvy, bevelled mirror decorated with a ribbon twist and beaded frame and topped with a floral and foliate cartouche. The tilting mirror is suspended between two stepped acanthus leaf decorated supports with a central rosette, set into an elongated oval base decorated along the front and side edges with matching ribbon twist and beading as well as rosettes within rectangles. Five tapering circular feet support the base. The original, bevelled, mirror has age and wear but complements the decorative look of this original piece.
