Item Details

Small antique Italian mirror, circa 1890, with outset corners. Originally silverleafed but, after more than 100 years of cleaning, the silver leaf has thinned revealing the warm terracotta bole beneath. The frame is decorated with a punched design of curling tendrils and leaves set within etched geometric panels. The original glass has some light age in the form of freckling, but still gives a good reflection.
