Stunning, 19th century, very tall, narrow, antique, French archtop mirror with outcurving, watergilt frame, circa 1840. The gilding continues around the outside edges which are finished with an unusual, double row of narrow curves. The original mercury plate is in very good condition and gives an excellent reflection and this mirror would make a wonderful full-length mirror or an "entre deux" mirror, situated between two tall windows or doors.
