An early 20th Century Kuba Kelleh rug, demonstrating large proportions and rich tones throughout.
What a wonderful addition to our rug department! A sense of stateliness conjures up feelings of grandeur not only for its dramatic size but the bold shapes and contrasts in its colours echoing a sense of sophisticated playfulness. The main field design demonstrates bold symmetrical geometric pattern of flowers and vines. Woven on a rich indigo background, the array of tones and colours used throughout lift the carpets palette. A truly exceptional Kelleh carpet ideal for use in an entrance hall, corridor or situated under a dining table. Displaying a semi-high pile, which will bring warmth and drama to any large room giving it great appeal.
