Item Details

This beautiful cushion is made from a contemporary Akha embroidery. The embroidery stitches are perfectly executed in thick cotton coloured with natural dyes, mainly sage green, olive green pink and yellow ochre. The cotton ground is off white and the reverse is a thick hand woven cotton in a natural colour. The cushion is lined and has an invisible zip fastener and deluxe feather pad.


Its a lovely thing and by buying this you are helping to keep these traditional skills alive as well as provide an income for the Akha.
