This lovely little pillow is made from a vintage ikat tube skirt from Alor Indonesia. The textile was hand loomed from thick hand spun cotton, coloured with natural dyes. The textile has a good age to it and the colours are beautifully muted with time. The colours are predominantly browns, indigo and pinks. I've backed the pillow wit another part of the tube skirt in deep indigo. This is shown in the photos but its th backed of a different sized pillow. I've added indigo dyed tassels and stuffed the pillow with Provencal lavender, selected for its long lasting scent. give it a scrunch to freshen t up.


These little pillows are perfect gifts for textile lovers who have no space for big cushions.
