Item Details

This cushion is made from a vintage Banjara bag that has been opened out. The bag is made from several layers of recycled cotton fabric that are quilted together with thick cotton stitches. The top layer of cotton is a Balotra block print in a faded blue/green coloured indigo. There are some good bands of decorative couched stitching which adds to the appeal of this particular textile, plus a couple of cowrie shells I've backed the cushion with a heavy blue/green coloured hemp and there is a zip fastener and feather pad.
