Item Details

This lovely little lavender pillow, is made from a vintage hand loomed textile from Burma. It dates to the early C20 and was originally a tube skirt. There are some wonderful features original to the skirt and these include decorative floating weft stitches, a turquoise trim and a yellow beaded fringe. I just love it! The body of the skirt is a dusky pink and other colours include green turquoise and purple. I've backed the pillow with another vintage hand loomed textile in a turquoise and blue check, with red pinstripes. The pillow is packed full of Provencal lavender selected for it long lasting scent.
