Item Details

These cushions are made from a vintage strip woven cloth from the Ivory Coast. The cloth was hand loomed in mid C20 and coloured with natural dyes. They are an indigo check with pink weft strips and a custard yellow warp stripes. I love this colour combination. The cloth is nice and think and slightly faded and the seams nice and strong. I've backed the cushions with a vintage hand loomed textile from East China in a blue and black ditsy check. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
