These cushions are made from a very attractive Ewe kente strip woven cloth from the 1940s. The cloth is nice and sturdy and I have reinforced the seams of the strips. The predominant colours on the warp are blue,  teal, red and yellow and there are some lovely coloured weft blocks in green, yellow and burgundy. I have backed the cushions with a teal coloured heavy linen and there are zip fasteners and feather pads.
