Item Details

These lovely long cushions are made from a vintage Swat embroidery. The stitches are in silk on a hand spun, hand woven cotton ground. The colours are a lovely browny red and dark blue. The geometric pattern is beautifully executed and would have been sewn with the reverse of the fabric facing the sewer in order to count the threads for accuracy. I've backed the cushions with a hand loomed cotton textile in a blue stripe which I think works well with the front. There are zip fasteners and deluxe feather inserts.
