This magnificent large pillow is made from the back panel of an Akha hilltribe jacket from SW China. The embroidery is exquisite. It's made up of tiny cross stitching in gorgeous warm tones on indigo dyed hand spun, hand loomed cotton. I've backed the cushion in a vintage hand loomed striped textile which i think works beautifully. The cushion has a zip fastener and deluxe feather pad. This is a really special cushion, totally unique and i doubt i will find anything this special again.


I have two other vintage Akha jackets which I've framed but the needle work on then isn't nearly so special
