https://www.decorativecollective.com/dealers/penny-worrallThese cushions were produced by Shrujan, a not for profit organisation established in 1969 to encourage women in the Kutch region of India to continue to use their needlework skills. This enabled them both to earn a living selling their work and keep these amazing skills alive. The co-operative that produced these cushions for Shrujan is no longer in existence. It is particularly fine work and only found these days at significantly higher prices.
These cushions are a beautiful blue coloured silk with the embroidery stitches in rust, baby blue and celadon. There are zip fasteners and feather and down pads.
