Item Details

This little cushion is made from a fragment of an old Maonan silk wedding blanket. The blanket is woven in a lovely orange colour with auspicious symbols picked out in pink, green and blue. All the colours are natural. I've backed the cushion in another vintage hand loomed textile, and this is a green stripe. I've edged the pillow with a pretty tassel fringe and stuffed it full of Provencal lavender selected for its long lasting scent.
