These cushions are made from a hand loomed textile from the island of Nusa Penida off the coast of Bali. Rang rang means perforation which refers to the lace holes that are woven into the weave. The cotton yarn is coloured with natural dyes, which are lovely beige, grey, green, rust and light brown. The cushions are lined and have invisible zips. They come with deluxe feather inserts. I think they are really pretty and have enabled a weaver to earn an income and keep the traditional skills of this small community alive.
