This cushion is made from a lovely vintage Savu ikat. The ikat was hand loomed in thick cotton which was coloured with natural dyes. The colours have faded over time to soft light and dark indigo and a beautiful old pink from the plant morinda citrifolia. I've backed the cushion with a faded indigo cotton rescued from the back of a Hill tribe quilt. I think it is really beautiful and a treat for lovers of old textiles. There is a zip fastener and deluxe feather insert.
