Item Details

This gorgeous lavender pillow is made from a fragment of a C19 tube skirt from Lampung, Sumatra. The skirt was hand loomed in gorgeous tones of orange and black and decorated with couched stitches and tiny mirror pieces. I've backed the pillow with a vintage hand woven black  textile and added C19 tassels in a faded green. The pillow is stuffed full of Provencal lavender selected for its long lasting scent.
