Item Details

This cushion is made from a vintage Swat valley wedding pillow. It is embroidered in silk and would have been made for the bride by her mother. The quality of the embroidery is very good and I think its a very attractive pillow. I've backed it with a vintage Songjiang handwoven textile, which is indigo with a hint of raspberry stripe running through it and it works beautifully. I've added blue tassels and there is a zip fastener and feather pad.
