A mid century wooden sunburst mirror. A mass of wiggly rays of sunshine arranged over two tiers of contrasting silver and gold all displayed around the original convex mirror. The surface to this unusual sunburst has a decorative craquelure effect revealing the deep reddish basecoat beneath. Gold and silver shapely wooden sunburst mirror. France circa 1960.
