A large 19th century chest of five drawers with a graceful bow front standing tall on four bracket feet. The scale to this fabulous chest is such that can be used for maximum storage having two short drawers above three longer with the base drawer being particularly deep. All five drawers fit beautifully within the carcass and run with perfect ease, each one still with its original heavy quality solid brass drop handles.
Craftsman made from solid English Ash in the mid 19th century now mellowed to a beautiful pale honey colour. Untouched original condition. Solid pine backboards. Superb quality solid Ash bow fronted chest. circa 1860.
