Although no drawers or slides this pretty table may still have been used for the French card game of the same name. These days it would work equally well as a side, lamp or occasional table. The circular marble top comes in pretty shades of pink, white and grey set within a patinated brass pierce work gallery. The top is supported by a deep fruitwood apron uniting four elegant reeded legs terminating with patinated brass ferrules. Superb original condition. Warm honey colour, deeply polished surface. French Bouillotte table. Circa 1920.
