A mid century composite bird bath of unusually large scale. This stunning centre piece bird bath has rested in a beautiful garden known to us for over fifty years, in that time it has developed a wonderfully lush mossy surface to the base. The bath itself is in the form of a large shallow clam shell. The shell sits upon a substantial column raised on three square graduating flagstones. Large English weathered bird bath. Circa 1960.
