A 19th century French overmantle / wall mirror. A superb example of a mirror of this particular style. This exceptional mirror boasts the deepest original gilding with rich lustre. There is a tiny amount of wear revealing the pale bole basecoat beneath only adding to its desirable appearance. A neat design of entwining leaves etched into the surface decorate the wide mirror frame. The mirror frame holds the original glass plate which has remained in remarkable blemish free condition allowing perfect clarity. Louis Philippe overmantle /wall mirror.
