A 19th century four drawer burr walnut commode chest. The drawer fronts to this elegant commode boasts the most exquisite burr veneers, tightly woven together in a swirling book matched design being repeated on all drawers. It has simple understated style making it perfect to blend with either modern contemporary or period surroundings. The drawers are heavy quality oak lined and all fit well within the main carcass each drawer with a key for opening. A large piece of smart polished black marble sits upon the top of the chest, the whole being raised on four neat bracket feet. French burr walnut commode. Circa 1880.
