Item Details

A large 19th century cast iron centre piece urn in original paint. The wide plant bowl has a deep ribbed exterior generously covered with faded moss green paint, the outer rim having neat egg and dart detail. The bowl stands on a waisted, ribbed socle with remains of contrasting pink. The paint finish has perfectly worn and faded over the years presenting the most impressive garden urn. Super original condition with no cracks or fractures. Perfectly suitable for inside or outside garden planting. Original painted urn circa 1860.
