Item Details

This super French country server started life over a century ago just a little deeper in scale. It has since been expertly and carefully reduced to a more useful depth making it easier to place within the home.
The top is formed from two long solid chestnut timbers and sits above a run of three deep drawers, each drawer with a heavy gauge brass handle made especially for this piece. It stands upon four square chamfered legs all united by a low ‘H’ stretcher. French chestnut mellowed to a gorgeous colour with a richly patinated surface. 19th century French server reduced in depth.
