An antique 15 inch Anglo Swiss challenge wall clock. This decorative wall clock is presented in superb working order complete with winding key. These iconic clocks were originally designed to be used as municipal / school or station clocks but these days can sit comfortably within the home and blend perfectly with contemporary modern day living. Housed within the polished mahogany case is an English Smiths timepiece mechanism. The dial shows black painted numerals and the maker’s name upon the original tin clock face behind the glass lens. The internal pendulum ticks to perfection with accurate timekeeping and can be accessed from the pendulum door beneath with a side inspection door together with levelling lugs and pins to the back of the clock. Anglo Swiss challenge wall clock.
