The gilded surface to this pretty little mirror has gathered a few minor rub marks over the past two centuries revealing the earthy basecoat only enhancing its sweet charm. A decorative carved wood crest stands above the gilded mirror frame together with a neat back structure in original faded cream paint. Original mirror plate with minor foxing. French Miroir de mariage. Late 18th early 19th century.
