A quintessential English country house dresser base made circa 1780 from solid oak seasoned to a deep rich colour over the past two centuries. The top to this country base consists of one long single oak timber. There are a few imperfections and dints as one would expect for a base from the 18th century but this simply adds to its charm, character and history. Below are three solid oak drawers, each drawer with its original decorative antique brass handles and escutcheon.
