Item Details

A 19th century French walnut commode. The original marble top to this pretty commode is showered with random lightening veins and flecks of white and grey. It sits firmly above a set of four well fitting drawers. The top drawer has a central key for opening, three further drawers beneath, each with two patinated brass handles. The drawers all fit well and run with simple ease. It boasts the prettiest walnut grain within book matched veneers now seasoned to a gorgeous golden colour together with a richly polished surface. Standing on low shaped bracket feet. Superb original condition. Burr walnut commode. France circa 1870.
