Item Details

An English Georgian tilt top tripod table. Unusual to find an English country tripod table in cherrywood, a pleasant change from mahogany and oak. The top has lightened a little in colour over the past two centuries in contrast to the slightly darker tripod base but still holds a rich golden colour with deep patina the two blending perfectly together. The original catch mechanism to the underside of the table top is in good working order keeping it in place whilst in use, but allowing it to stand in the upright position if required. English fruitwood table circa 1830.
