A 19th century French gilded wall mirror. The original gilding to this pretty mirror has rubbed and faded a little over the past century and more revealing the deep terracotta coloured basecoat creating a rich harmonious combination of colours. A fine foliate design etched neatly into the front surface to the frame enhances its history and character even further. Superb original glass mirror plate. Original wooden back boards. Replaced steel hanging loops and wire. French gilded wall mirror.
