Item Details

An early 19th century French mahogany Gueridon with original marble top. The central barrel column to this smart circular table rises from a deep triform base. The table column and base are veneered in mahogany with subtle graining now seasoned to a deep rich colour with wonderful patina. To the neck of the column is a contrasting black ebonised collar, the same design being repeated at the base.
The polished black marble top is in perfect original condition with no cracks or weaknesses and is showered with random white flecks and veining throughout. A simple yet elegant circular table. Perfect to use as a centre / side table for contemporary or period living. French marble top Gueridon circa 1820
