Item Details

A mid century Italian giltwood sunburst mirror. Unusual to be square in design but equally as appealing as the traditional circular sun. The central glass mirror plate is surrounded on all four sides by a mass of tiny mirror margins between a series of gilded architectural wooden rays. The gilded surface has worn slightly in places and some of the little mirror margins have gathered a few cracks and blemishes over the years, but this simply enhances the character and history of this dramatic sunburst mirror. Italian sunburst mirror circa 1960.
