A 19th century convex wall mirror. The oversized scale to this large convex mirror certainly provides amazing reflection, not a mirror for looking in, nevertheless a highly desirable addition to open up any room.
The large convex glass sits within a decorative oval gilt wood frame. The gilded surface has faded and rubbed in places over the past century revealing the earthy base colours beneath only enriching its historical appearance. The convex mirror is in superb original condition with no foxing. French oval convex mirror circa 1880.
