Item Details

A particularly good example of a 19th century French vendange table. The large oval top is formed from thick solid walnut timbers mellowed over the past century and more to the most beautiful deep colour developing a richly patinated surface along the way. It stands upon twin walnut legs with a swing support to hold the top firmly in position when in use. The table height has been increased slightly to allow the correct proportion for dining/ entertaining. 19th century walnut vendange table circa 1880.
