A 19th century English carved wood mirror. The frame to this decorative mirror was carved from wood over a century ago, in this time the gilded surface has mostly faded away revealing the rich reddish brown base coat developing a wonderfully atmospheric textured surface with just a hint of gold leaf. Original convex glass mirror.
