Item Details

A late 19th century heavy gauge cast iron bench of the sweetest proportions. The back and sides to this pretty bench have a gentle curve and are designed with entwining bunches of grapes and leaves on vine all in the original old paint now worn and faded creating a wonderfully atmospheric surface. The same decorative detail is repeated on the front and back legs. The curved seat has heavy open fretwork detail with remains of old paint. An extremely decorative heavy quality English garden bench with no wobbles, breaks or repairs.
