Item Details

A plain and simple oval gilded wall mirror. The elegant frame to this pretty mirror still boasts the original gilded finish. There is a tiny amount of surface wear in places revealing some traces of the rich terracotta base colour beneath but this only enhances it understated profile. A continuous and complete row of tiny gilded beads frame the original glass mirror plate. Minor foxing to the glass. Oval French gilded wall mirror circa 1880.
