Item Details

A late 19th century chair with original painted detail. The surface colours to this pretty chair have dulled a little over the past century and more but nevertheless clearly visible with exquisite hand painted design, including billowing flowers, swags and much more. The chair seat is original with no breaks to the cane, quite remarkable considering the time scale. English hand painted chair circa 1880.
