Item Details

A superb pair of newly upholstered armchairs circa 1890. The armchairs have been totally reupholstered from scratch. The internal wood frames cleaned, stabilised where necessary and wood worm treated if only as a precautionary measure, the seats re sprung for extra comfort. Upholstered in pale moss green linen (Tinsmith Chester Sage) with patinated stud trim in the traditional way as they had originally been. Raised on four reeded walnut legs with polished show wood frames. A superbly comfortable pair of 19th century French armchairs newly upholstered to ensure comfort and stability for many more years to come.
