Item Details

A late 19th century English leather fire bucket. The vibrant red leather exterior to this handsome bucket is complimented by the dusty blue interior. The surface paint does have some natural wear only enhancing its charm and character. The thick leather carrying handle is attached to the bucket by two large steel rings. The maker’s name Merryweather, London can be found to the underside. A sound example of a 19th century fire bucket in superb original condition. England circa 1890.
