Item Details

The most desirable English Regency cast iron boot scraper. Serpents within the oval tray displayed with tails raised to support the scraping bar. The oval cast iron base is deep sided and supported by four stylised lion’s paws. The whole piece shows traces of the original green paint. Superb original condition with no fractures or damage. English cast iron boot scraper. Circa 1820.
