Item Details

A large mid century giltwood sunburst mirror. A mass of jagged architectural rays of sunlight in alternating levels circle the original convex mirror. The surface gilding has rubbed and faded over the past half century creating a wonderfully atmospheric contrast of gold with hints of the terracotta base coat. The domed convex mirror plate is the original with only minor blemishes. Sunburst mirror circa 1950.
