The most delicious still life oil on canvas. A large ripened peach positioned to the centre of the arrangement with two pears nestling behind. Black grapes, a small cluster of cherries, even an inquisitive little bee can be spotted in the foreground all set against an earthy atmospheric background. No damage to the canvas. Parisian art suppliers stamp to the reverse. France circa 1880.
