Item Details

A late 19th century English wall mirror. The mahogany frame to this pretty mirror holds the original glass plate set behind a narrow chased gilt slip, the top being surmounted with the most exquisite gilt wood crest. A flaming gilded urn sits above the mirror flanked on either side by cascading foliate swags of leaves and berries. The base of the mirror is equally enhanced presenting a central gilt wood shell together with a horizontal garland of rosettes, berries and leaves. Original mirror plate with historical foxing.
